03.08.2012 19:24, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #14090

Epicallima formosella, erred to put a question mark instead of a comma in the previous comment, used English keyboard layout :)

03.08.2012 19:14, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #14090

Epicallima formosella? What's confusing is the black dot up the wing upperside, albeit, no other similar species in the area :)

03.08.2012 18:59, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #14085

Some Crambus, I'll try to check it out.

28.07.2012 20:47, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13953

Error, this is another Pyralidae.

28.07.2012 20:29, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13943

Right:). All the rest occur to spot Amphipyra pyramidea whilst berbera is a rare thing.

28.07.2012 18:32, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13941

Amphipyra berbera.

26.07.2012 21:36, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13932

What it is 1 cm? The wingspan size, one wing or the body? :) It's not about sizes anyway. According to Noctuidae Europaeae, vol. 13, there are two Chelis species in the North Caucasus — maculosa honesta and cecilia cecilia, the latter has usually more active black pattern on its hindwings. I'd doubt the accuracy of identification even as the moth was spread.

25.07.2012 16:03, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13932

Chelis cecilia, the identification questionable.

25.07.2012 15:34, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #12527

Using exceptions, can suppose this is a Doloploca genus moth which is in two species in Primor'ye one of those I know, Doloploca praeviella, what's not to be this, then it should be Doloploca buraetica. :) Not certain identification.

25.07.2012 15:14, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13905

Identification is wrong, this is Ochlodes sylvanus.

24.07.2012 14:38, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13848

Dendrolimus superans.

23.07.2012 22:11, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13849

Tatyana, there are three more images of this Geometridae, please, identify them either, otherwise they might stick since Petr may not associate them all together. :)

05.07.2012 0:07, Alexandr Zhakov: comment on photo #13579
