Photo #13729: Lepidoptera sp.

Base gallery. Lateral/Underside. Alive insect.

Photo: Maria Pozdnova. Image redone at the website. Identified by: Robot

Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2012-07-06 17:18:00, Moscow region, Volokolamsky district, Chismena railway station

Photographer's comment: It has five red spots on forewings as do Zygaena Trifolii and Z.Lonicerae, and the wide dark fringe on hind wings as Z. trifolii, yet the outer tip of its antennae is a little bit yellow as of Z. angelicae. Also it was found on the site full of birdsfoot trefoils. Besides, the underside looks rather odd since it has spots in the midst. The species descriptions are from Lampert K., 2003.

Maria, have you any shots of its upperside?

This family can't be identified by underside photos. :(

Any versions on the moth?
