Moved.

How come this flew to the genus? Just Caligo with no species name...

Petr, then no questions more if they're synonyms. Even to "identified successfully".

As a dummy in Lepidoptera but pro in the website catalogue, I want to point out that automedon and polyxena are synonyms on the website (on the Website!). So can be moved at least to "uncertain"!

Yes, right, Eryphanis. Dmitry, thanks! Tend more to Eryphanis automedon, though not sure. Eryphanis polyxena is an alike species... Maybe pros add something?

31.03.2013 1:46, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Not Caligo, rather something of the genus Eryphanis.

Caligo memnon?
