Concerning Polia nebulosa, take a look at the site www.lepiforum.de for this species. I am missing the dark stripes on the flanks and also the diamond-shaped pattern on top.

Thyatira batis / Tentatively identified / Maria Pozdnova Not identified.

Should be annuled :) Will do in a sec.

So where to move? Or just to uncertain so far?

28.12.2013 10:49, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Definitely not Thyatira batis. Polia nebulosa (Hufnagel, 1766) as a variant (to dig out farther): http://insectamo.ru/larva/98-hete/noctuidae/1436-polia-nebulosa Whilst here is T. batis: http://insectamo.ru/larva/89-hete/drepanidae/852-thyatira-batis

Any alternatives?..

For sure this it is not Thyatira batis. That is a complete other species that you will find almost only on plants of stinging nettle (Urtica). That is my experience from north-east Poland.
(Urtica)

Take a look at my website: www.natuurfotografiejan.nl. I photographed three different species which are all very different.

I think this is Dypterygia scabriuscula.

Thanks, moved to "uncertain" Thyatiridae.

Looks like Thyatira batis (the "face" seems to be on the right).
