Base gallery. Upperside. Alive insect.

Photo, and identified by: Jan Rasmussen. Image without retouching at the website. Tentative identification

Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2012-10-13 00:00:00, Thailand, Chiang Mai Province, Mae Ai District at a hotel on the bank of the Kok River

Photographer's comment: Comment from Dr. Alexander Schintlmeister: "The specimen you photographed resembles Norracoides basinotata but is different in the forewing pattern. It does not match basinotata as I have in my collection (I attach image of a pair of this slightly sexualdimorphic species.). Of course, the blackish discalspot on the forewings should be diagnostic, however it looks somewhat strange. And in such a "hot-spot" area like N Thailand you must always calculate with further new species. So, good to take next time on this place one or better 2 specimens for examination."

I got it, on the first question. In the second, the extra information is requested to remove, in the form of inaccurate, comments the author details, and all of them it is clear that that does not understand :)

1. Because the only alternative at the moment - general lack of commentary in the Russian version. In English one does not go to check. Because it's better than nothing.

Question 1: Why and on Russian and English version, the English text, the author's comments?
Question 2 .: Are there additional information that it is not a precise definition, or a new form of either a new kind ?. I think that says it all in the comments of the author. Or I mistranslated?
