His name is Andrew Przhiboro ZIN. According to him I add a little about the family and about him. Engaged in water and semi-aquatic Diptera, including working with this family (fauna, ecology) and even once published the first in Russian determinant of larvae and pupae Psychodidae. In Russia, in this family there was never anyone (except subfamily Phlebotominae - mosquitoes), and the group has not been studied much. Species composition in the Maritime region is known for probably 5 percent.

Good. I will make this request. Without the consent I do not give references.

Determination on the shot, and the family as a whole can be closed.
Here is the statement of a specialist.
Photo is quite satisfactory, and there is no doubt that this is really Psychodidae. But a more precise definition, unfortunately, it is impossible - it is necessary to see the subtle signs, especially the genitals and the details of venation,
which can be seen mainly in the formulation, in any case, it is not visible in the figure.
The general appearance can be assumed that it is representative of the subfamily and tribe Psychodinae Telmatoscopini. In particular, it belongs to this tribe and some widespread synanthropic species, which often catch the eye. But it is in any case not a definition, but only my guess.
Identify Psychodidae can only be mounted on the material, but not the photo. This photo on body length (10-12 mm), if it seems to me greatly exaggerated - all known to me Psychodidae much smaller.
That is probably all that I can tell by the photos.

Satchelliella sp Rod advised to look Kanyukova EV I looked and I think that kind of really Satchelliella. Overlooking slip. But like in this case, it is possible, by process of elimination to cut off all described coins. Then look relatively fresh descriptions of suitable geography. Option only one kind Satchelliella ussurica [Wagner, 1994] - only here for one thing disturbs.I could not find any pictures of this kind, nor the size of information. But most likely it is a Satchelliella ussurica [Wagner, 1994], or even a new look. Anyway, you can probably move is to Satchelliella sp.

Shamil! I'm an Internet and realized that they say about the length, not the wingspan. Also something about it .. I'm trying to find out who, when and where (ies) involved in the family according to ET. Dal Old, that large are also known to Ufa. Even if everything and work out, then the definition of further kinds hardly take place. For one family asked to double-check.

19.09.2015 9:36, Shamil Murtazin

Somehow I registered on diptera.info Maybe there defined. With regard to size. On the same site is measured by the size of the calf, ie from head to tail, instead wingspan.

He introduced the word in the search engines large and nothing new major. As there is little, -up to 2 mm. More infu found that the family of the Russian Far East is poorly (data source, 2008), but judging by the infe Shamil, not only in the Far East, since in different regions Krupnyakov skipped. So we Shamil.mozhet new species?
We'll have to ask around, maybe that will become clear.

I, too, have been healthy. Maybe they "fade" and grow? =)

16.09.2015 18:41, Alexandr Zhakov

Wow, when I did not know that they have such byvayut.U really small, can in the internet information on European species?

16.09.2015 18:35, Yuri Semejkin

With the family agrees. I do not agree with infoy Internet, write -vezde moth flies the length does not exceed 3-4 mm. So while not forget to specify the size. In this case, the length of at least 1 cm. In another, if it is, how it is, sit on the thumbnail, it will close it completely, perhaps sometimes even speaking of a fingernail.

16.09.2015 17:32, Alexandr Zhakov Corrected data.

Not identified Psychodidae / Confidently identified / Alexandr Zhakov.
