Brahmaea tancrei, Fustaut, 1896.

05.05.2011 15:32, Peter Khramov

Photo will be moved to Brahmaea tancrei. People, add new species to the database, please.

28.04.2011 6:27, Evgeny Komarov

To be picky enough: according to Synev (exactly, Zolotuhin in Synev Catalogue), in Russian Far East can be only tancrei who has a note "wrong identifying certhia auct.". Roman! Reask after Dmitry: why certhia? Petr! Don't move it anywhere till discussion finished.

27.04.2011 22:05, Peter Khramov

Sorry, moved to another one. Gentlemen, add Brahmaea certhia then to move it there.

27.04.2011 13:28, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Where has it been moved? Species is not identified just by external features. As far as I know, these are twin species.

27.04.2011 13:16, Evgeny Komarov

Petr, didn't get it, what for Charissa???!!! This is Brahmaea!!!

27.04.2011 12:57, Peter Khramov

27.04.2011 6:20, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Why not tancrei???

27.04.2011 5:07, Vladimir Mescheryakov

Brahmaea certhia.

26.04.2011 11:26, Peter Khramov

Roman, so it's certhia or tancrei?

25.04.2011 4:51, Vladimir Mescheryakov

:) Zhen'... pipe it down. If that's not evident... yes, that's Russian Far East :)

24.04.2011 21:01, Evgeny Komarov

Such wrong identifyings are caused by author's neglecting shot/caught location info! Million times there was told about this!

24.04.2011 15:07, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Christophi in the Russian Far East??? This is Brahmaea certhia or tancrei.

24.04.2011 14:25, Igor Sakhno

Brahmaea christophi, maybe.
