Distribution

  • Regions of the Russian Federation: Gorno-Altai, Trans-Baikal, Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny-Amur, Prealtay, of Baikal, Pribaikalskiy, Primorye, Sakhalin, Amur-Average, Average Okhotsk (?), Tuva, South West Siberian, South Yakutia. [3].

General info about Imago

  • Appearing in the early spring, the butterflies begin to feed on willows and flowering primroses of herbaceous plants. Activity in this respect of females. In different geogr. p-tries the power of adults observed on the flowers: Bistorta major (large coil), Ranunculus repens (creeping buttercup), Anemone altaica (Vetrenichka Altai) on flowers and willow Salix depressa (Altai, Sayan).On Baikal butterflies found in various kinds of plants genus Spiraea (Spiraea), and kind of Sorbaria (mountain ash).   • In Southern Primorye of adults feed on flowers Sorydalis repens (Corydalis creeping), Corydalis remota (Corydalis apart) Ranunculus repens (Ranunculus repens), Lloydia triflora (Lloyd trёhtsvetkovaya) and others.
