Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Верх крыльев черно-бурый. Ржаво-бурая перевязь на передних крыльях у самца нечеткая, у самки же заметно шире и светлее. Перевязь на задних крыльях представляет собой три—четыре отдельных ржаво-красных пятна. Глазчатые пятна, некоторые из которых со светлыми ядрами, на передних крыльях пронои всегда имеются, а на задних иногда могут и отсутствовать. Испод передних крыльев ржаво-бурого цвета, со светлой перевязью, испод задних несет фиолетово-серый мраморный рисунок и темно-бурую срединную перевязь. [85].

  • Цвет гусеницы — грязновато-красновато-желтый. Тело личинок Erebia pronoe покрыто желтоватыми с черными кончиками волосками, по спине идет черная линия. Голова — грязная, бурая, со множеством темных точек. Днем гусеницы прячутся, активное же питание разворачивают лишь ночью. [85].
