General info about Imago

  • Волнистный шелкопряд летает по ночам во влажных и теплых местах, например, в пойменных лесах или на солнечных теплых полянах и вырубках. Чаще держится в кронах тополей. [85].

Imago lifespan

  • С конца апреля до августа, без перерывов. В некоторых областях перерывы все же случаются, например, в Южной Германии первое поколение летает с апреля по июнь, далее перерыв до августа, после чего начинает летать второе поколение бабочек. [85].
