Butterfly black, iridescent green-blue, blue, green and white. This day of passage butterflies flying fast and high and resting on the highest trees. Distributed in Central and South America; especially beautifully painted shapes occurring in Cuba and Jamaica. (VYStanek "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Insects" in 1977 publishing Artiya, Prague).
