Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Каждое надкрылье с более или менее глубокой вершинной вырезкой, шовный и наружный углы обычно хорошо выражены и иногда остро оттянуты; надкрылья черные или светло-коричневые; ноги двуцветные (чего не бывает у похожего Acmaeops septentrionis), голени рыжеватые даже у черных форм; длина самцов: 7.0-10.2 мм; самок: 9.0-11.5 мм. [267].
