Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Atrophaneura polyeuctes polyeuctes (Doubleday, 1842): wingspan 85-110 mm. Similar to P. dasarada but UpH with an oblong white patch in space 5 and a white spot below it in space4; submarginal spot in space 4 reddish. This species used to be placed in another pre-occupied name, Atrophaneura philoxenus (Gray). [144].
