  • Южн. Россия, Крым, Казахстан, Ср. Азия, Китай (Джунгария, Гоби, Гуанси). На юге европ. части отмечен в Волгоградской и Астраханской обл., Калмыкии, Дагестане (побережье Каспия), Краснодарском крае (Сочи, Анапа), Ростовской обл. [260].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Крупный жук, длиной 25,5—33,2 мм. Имеет однотонную окраску, образованную беловатыми чешуйками, почти равномерно покрывающими все тело; у самца они гуще, чем у самки. Передние голени у обоих полов с 3 зубцами.
    Связан с песчаными почвами, обитает по долинам рек. [260].
