Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Верх черно-бурый, с золотистым отливом, посередине передних крыльев — пара желтых угловатых пятен, на наружном крае задних крыльев — широкая желтая перевязь. Испод задних крыльев пепельно-серый или коричневато-бурый. В состоянии покоя схожа с сухим листом (усики и щупики походят на черешок, а срединная тень испода заднего крыла должна изображать центральную жилку листа). [85].

Имаго Libythea celtis встречается с июня по июль, зимует, после чего продолжает лёт в марте—апреле. [85].

Гусеница листовидной носатки бархатисто-пушистая, имеет светлую спинную полосу и розоватые боковые полоски, «похожа на гусеницу белянок». [85].
