Северная часть ареала проходит по Центральной Европе (Австрия, южная часть Чехии, Венгрия), иногда пандора может залетать и в Польшу. Летает в Южной Европе, на Канарских островах, в Северной Африке и на восток — до Ирана и Афганистана. В горах Азии отмечалась на высоте до 4500 м. [85].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Испод передних крыльев кирпично-коричневый, испод задних крыльев зеленоватый, с более или менее четкой серебристой перевязью в зависимости от экземпляра. Одни из самых ярких подвидов — seitzi Fruhst. (Алжир) и pasargades Fruhst. (Центральная Азия). [85].

Местообитания — разреженные леса, каменистые горные склоны. [85].

Imago lifespan

Лёт, в целом, с мая по октябрь. В Северной Африки летают два поколения Argynnis pandora — с мая по июнь и с август по сентябрь (иногда и до октября). [85].

Гусеница красновато-бурая с черного цвета головой. [85].

Различные фиалки, особенно хороши для пандор анютины глазки. [85].

Куколка серо-бурая или зеленовато-серая, с блестящими пятнами на спинной части. [85].

Яйцо желтовато-коричневое, имеет от 20 до 24 продолговатых бороздок. [85].
