Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 45-60 mm. The following four swordtail butterflies, HW bears untwisted sword-shaped tail at least 14 mm long and a distinctive pattern of transverse black bars or bands on a white background. This species, FW has four black bars, the postdiscal bar met the black border at vein 3 or between 2 and 3. [144].
