Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 45-55 mm. Male UP is pale greenish white, FW black border broad at apex and along termen, wide narrowing towards tornus, the inner edge of the black border strongly serrated, HW white with marginal black spots; UN similar to the UP but without marginal black spots on HW. Female has dark dusted markings on both wings, remaining a whitish patch across the end-cell, broken into faded-spots towards tornus on the FW and whitish at mid HW. [144].
