Ruslan2, thank you!
However, it is not collected at all on the roots, but on the stem. Can't it be one of the mealybugs?

27.02.2010 11:02, Ruslan2

Well, except that the seaside is very much wiped )))

99.99% chance that it is an aphid.
Were there any oaks nearby? There are very large species on the oaks.

There is only one small oak tree, about 7 meters away from the place where the creature appeared, otherwise only pines and a small larch, which is also far away.

Tyrophagus putrescentiae ?
In a daffodil bulb.

On bulbous ones, it is common. There is also T. longior ( on its legs of the 1st and 2nd pairs of legs, the first solenidium gradually narrows).

I met such a large askalaf (about 5 cm) in the Altai Mountains. The closest I found was Libelloides sibiricus, but they are yellowish in the few images available. In this one, the light parts of the wings are white. Doubts prevail.

You are not mistaken - this is Libelloides sibiricus, the Siberian ascalaph of the reticulatoptera.

In my opinion, the photo is really a stick insect or some kind of leafy plant. Both of these insects belong, as far as I know, to the order Phasmida.

Help us determine what kind of animal it is and whether it is dangerous?
Like on the previous page it was similar.

It is 5-6 centimeters long and runs sooo fast. Appeared as soon as it became warm. Switzerland, April 2010
and how to deal with them?
