Rather, from Fulgoroidea-probably a larva of Flatidae.

Can you help me determine what kind of insect it is?
I can't send you a photo, because it's very small. About 3-4 mm long, similar in structure to an ant (but not an ant), black, rather long antennae. A distinctive feature is that if you crush it, it smells strongly and unpleasant (like a bug in strength, but the smell is different). Prichtm not all smell, among those that look exactly the same, there are odorous and odorless ones. Seen in an apartment in Moscow.

It looks like a wasp from the family Bethylidae. Their females are often wingless and resemble ants.

This specimen was photographed in Kazakhstan, on the Ushkanyr mountain plateau (near Almaty) at an altitude of about 2000 m. July, day. In the manner of flight, it is similar to hawkmoth.

Good day to all.
The background is as follows.
A friend from the Moscow region kept the refrigerator on the street for several days (he lives in a village house). I took the hol-k from him for temporary use in the apartment. From it (refrigerator) from time to time get out some krakazyabry, run around the apartment...I've already nailed a dozen of them in a week. By the way, they also live in the refrigerator itself (there are 12-15 degrees).
Links to the photo are attached. The size is about 1.5 cm, the speed of movement is approximately like that of a cockroach.
I can't figure out if this is someone's larva or an independent species. The head looks like an ant's, but the body doesn't...
Tell me, please, what is it? Is it dangerous?

picture: M_1.jpgpicture: M_2.jpgHello, if possible, I would like to know what kind of diptera is in the photo?
It would be even more interesting to find out what kind of "crustacean-arachnids" were sitting on this fly?
picture: M_3.jpgpicture: M_4.jpg
The situation is as follows – I swatted a fly on the windowsill, it is the size of the average mass flies that get bored in the house (maybe a little smaller), but you can hardly hear it in flight (or it buzzed "wrong"), and outwardly it seemed to be different from the August zhigalok and from " ordinary"our small house flies. After the impact, two other small (about 1.5 mm) creatures with pincers were left crawling on the windowsill. That is, either these are parasites (somehow too big for a 7 mm fly), or they are free-living creatures and somehow clung to it somewhere? Please explain.

17.08.2010 9:23, amateur

Yes, about the fly and its "parasites" - it was in Kirov in the summer of 2009.

It doesn't look like parasites: These are false scorpions. And here's why on a fly it's really a question confused.gif

These things with pincers are false scorpions. Sometimes found in homes. But what they have to do with the fly, I don't know.

False scorpions often cling to flies and settle with their help http://www.floranimal.ru/orders/2681.html. This phenomenon is called phoresia.
