Tell me what kind of animal it is .
In the garden there is a water tank for 2 cubes. after the winter, the water from the well is flooded,
suddenly I see this creature, which moves very quickly, a kind of lively animal.
It looks very much like a tick on top, with a slightly flattened ball on the side. size 5-7 mm.
Astrakhan. May.

this is a water mite of the genus Eylais, probably E. hamata, hydrachnas look different, they are almost spherical and the oral organs are much longer and really in the form of a syringe

These are argas mites (family Argasidae), they are widely distributed in Central Asia, some species can attack humans and are carriers of pathogens of a number of diseases

Hello!
There was something strange on the windowsill with flowers confused.gif
I have not found such flower pests on any forum by a flower grower (although no harm has been noticed to my flowers from this neighborhood).
user posted image
Photographed with a binocular magnifying glass.
At first IT was on the wrong side of the leaves, solitary, rare. Now It has spread and settled on any nearby surfaces-glass, wood, blinds. All are also single, firmly attached to the rib.
Size 1-1. 5 mm, red-brown.
It seems to me that these are someone's eggs, but no insects, except for these formations on the windowsill, were noticed...

Wild thought-seeds.

Don't you get flies on puparia?

16.06.2012 21:23, Pirx

Don't you get flies on puparia?

I wouldn't say that. Puparia ovaloid like everything. These don't even look like eggs. These things are on such different substrates, on the edge, etc. Judging by the description, everything points to the seeds of some plant. Well, organoleptically it would be easier to determine wink.gif. They should be solid if my version is correct.

They picked up smile.gifmore than One thing - inside it was a porridge-like white-transparent mass.
And there are more and more of them within 2 months. Now almost the entire windowsill is filled. (by the way, the window is open in the bright, hot sun).

If the forum is attended by specialists from Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, then I can provide this object for determining "in kind"smile.gif))

17.06.2012 15:16, Guest

Does the sour cherry grow there by any chance?

No, there is no sourness smile.gif
Hibiscus, cacti and reo grow on the windowsill. These plants have been present on the window for more than one year, but such an invasion only began this spring. The window often opens, and there is parking outside and along the perimeter of larch, poplar and maple trees.

17.06.2012 19:04, Pirx

And who would stick these seeds on the glass, walls and leaves, putting them on the edge and almost on the sharp tip???

The seeds of a number of plants are scattered quite far. Well, collect it, put some of it in a box, and some of it in a saucer with water. They will either sprout or hatch. smile.gif

Dear participants, please help us determine whose egg laying this is.

I found the first one on a rose leaf in the garden. Eggs are yellow in color.

The other three are in the forest on birch leaves.

They are the same, but smaller and multicolored.

From the eggs from the last photo today, tiny black worms hatched.

Sorry, there's a problem with the design of images, I'm a newbie.

Feed the "worms" with the leaves of those plants on which the eggs are found, when they grow up it will be possible to determine
