I wish someone could help me sort out my e-mails. I'll be very grateful. It will be enough until the end.

... if the light stripe on the temple is divided in two, then it is almost certainly Vespula vulgaris (in Vespula germanica, this stripe is always solid). But a more significant feature is the shape of the outer edge of the basal tooth of the mandibles (see my previous post).

I didn't find the "previous post", is it in this topic?

And with the temporal stripe, I don't understand it yet. I compared different photos, some of them have a yellow stripe reaching to the crown of the head, completely emphasizing the eye (germanica?). and in others, only on the sides of the head (vulgaris?).

picture: germ_vulg.jpg

Here is the wasp that nibbles sausage from the side of the face. Here the mandibles are visible, although not sharply. It's a pity Germanica with mandibles is not a good photo.

You're looking in the wrong direction. You need to look at the head from the side, since the temple is the side part of the head. Here in the picture with the sausage, you can see that the temporal stripe is divided into two parts.

AVA, Thank you so much! I guessed that it was one of the os diggers, but I assumed that it was Sphex. There are some very similar ones there. But here, it turns out, he was wrong.

Maybe I got the wrong topic for publication, but I think that these small nests are the work of some small eepons. Can someone recognize (Georgia) (yes, the photo is certainly terrible).

If there are spiders inside, it may well be Auplopus sp. [Pompilidae].

This was the first thought that came to me, but the nests are simply negligible, no more than 5 mm in length, smallish like for Auplopus ...
Unfortunately, it is not possible to check the contents, because the image was sent to me. The coin's diameter is 38 mm.

Yes, you're right, they're too small for Auplopus. Yes, and the listening group is large and located relatively freely, and not in a shelter.

In any case, the autopsy would have shown.

It's not clear from the photos: is it stuck on a horizontal or vertical surface? From the first picture, I thought. that it was on the underside of some kind of ledge, but obviously this impression was deceptive, since in this case the coin would not have fallen.

2. In general, I find it difficult, maybe Bombus pascuorum confused.gif

I see that this case is stuck to two perpendicular surfaces, one of which is obviously horizontal. I'd like to know if it's on the upper side of this horizontal surface, or on the lower side? If on the top one, then the excrement is quite suitable. But if on the bottom...

A similar scapus is also found in Myrmica lonae Finzi, 1926, but the angle of the photo is not very good, you need to see if there is a longitudinal roller at the base of the scapus. In general, there for mirmik you only need a petiole on the side, forehead and scapus. And to be sure, you need a myrmecologist.
