I'm not sure if I'll open America with this, but I can only say that the last photo shows a bumblebee.

I found such remains in the cell of last year's Polistes dominula nest under a very peculiar cocoon-partition:

picture: DSC01666a.jpg
picture: DSC01668a.jpg
picture: DSC01673a.jpg

As far as I could make out, from left to right: the last tergite of the abdomen, the head (I'm sure smile.gifof that), and the chest. Mandibles with only two teeth.

I think it's a bee of some sort. That's just the 1st abdominal tergite on the left.

"I don't get it.".. - a single bee used a cell in an empty wasp nest?
"But when did she make it, if it was last year's?" Or did it happen during the owners ' stay? Does this happen??
"It looked like something that had eaten a wasp larva and then pupated first."
"Then whose spare parts are they?" "this bee?" Then why did she die there, if everything went according to plan?

Anreas, I understand that someone who eats too much wants to know. As soon as he finds out, let him share it with me smile.gif

psih, this is a red forest ant, which myrmecologists still call "Formica of the rufa group". Does the abdomen shine strongly?

P.S. My bee after scraping mushrooms turned out to be a hyleus. That's why I wondered why the rod came out of this nest along with the latibuls...

"I don't understand a bit, but the question is already somewhat different: is 'Hyleus' the class of Entognathus, or the class of Bessyazh?"/About what? - some confusion in decoding in foreign Wikipedia.

It's written-bee! Need to watch Hylaeus [Colletidae]

Hello. Please tell me what kind of membrane I got in the finch's stomach.

Photos 1, 2 - head and some part of the chest.
Photo 3 - some chitin, possibly parts of the abdominal segments.
Photo 4-thighs.

Head width = 1.8-1.9 mm. Chest width = 2.5 mm. Hip length = 1.6 mm.
I don't ask for an exact definition, just up to the family.

If you need to provide more high-quality photos for identification, please indicate this to me.

Hello Dmitry.
I'll tell you right away, I'm not an expert shuffle.gif
I think this is the remains of a sawfly from the family Diprionidae, the genus Gilpinia or Diprion. I'm leaning towards the former. Judging by the presence of the yellow pattern, it was most likely a female.

This is not osmium at all - there is no arolium. Most likely some kind of megahil

Arolia appears when you need to cling to a smooth surface such as glass, etc. and so it is drawn in and it is not visible. Or am I wrong?

Well I do not know. I have all the material of osmia with arolias.
In any case, this is not Osmia bicornis, and in general it does not look like osmia

I am not ready to judge the presence of aroliums from this image (the scale is not the same), but I can say with confidence that this is not Osmia bicornis.

Well, not Osmia, but who can you tell? We can criticize and deny everything. Now I'll upload her own photo in a different angle on the razravilka.
