Oh, I remember asking a question here a long time ago about some kind of jump from the Crimea, which had rather big (as for a jump) dimensions - about 3 cm, very similar to Tesselana vittata, what are its dimensions? In addition to the first one, I also found smaller representatives of another species that were similar to it, rather they were Tesselana vittata, while the first one was some other species, there is a photo, I'll post it.

In my opinion, Roeseliana roeselii (Hagenbach, 1822). I've never seen a female in f. macroptera.

And not the long-winged Bicolorana bicolor by chance?

I wonder if we can reach any consensus among ourselves about the ancestral identity of the Resel jump? It's not the most important thing, but it's just fun... wink.gif

At least 14 species from the Isophya River are listed for Romania, which is adjacent to Bulgaria http://www.travaux.ro/pdf/194-ionut%20iorgu%20et%20al.pdf

Structure of the ovipositor, possibly correlated with Isophya modestior Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1882 or Isophya stysi Cejchan, 1958 ;
photo of Isophya ovipositors from the article THE ISOPHYA SPECIES OF CENTRAL AND WESTE
RN EUROPE (ORTHOPTERA: TETTIGONIOIDEA: PHANEROPTERIDAE), authors: KLAUS-GERHARD HELLER, KIRILL MARK ORCI, GÜNTER GREIN & SIGFRID INGRISCH

the elytra are shaped like I. modestior, I. modesta
Many species of the genus Isophya are very similar, so you can easily make a mistake. It is a pity that in the photo from this angle it is difficult to assess the shape of the elytra, etc.
