Is there a median keel on the pronotum?

no.

25.05.2013 20:03, PVOzerski

No.

Then it looks like, indeed, Medecticus. I caught similar fish once in Armenia.

I'll upload more photos, there are still problems with the equipment, it's really clear that the keel is not observed.

Please help me with the definition. I caught it in May in the suburbs of Jerusalem.
It lives on rocky slopes in crevices between rocks, and is also found in the lower part of grasses near the ground.
I believe that the tribe Drymadusini, but I can not assume the genus, is quite similar to Anadrymadusa only with much longer legs and a short ovipositor.

"Residents of the city of Rudny in Kazakhstan have recently begun to notice unusual black cockroaches in the ventilation of their homes, Interfax reports. Five-centimeter insects are relatives of previously widespread red cockroaches.

Experts explain the" return " of cockroaches by the desire to occupy an empty niche, which was once occupied by their red counterparts. Researcher of the Nature Department of the Regional Museum of Local Lore Andrey Andriushenko noted that cockroaches are carriers of infections, so there is a need for a number of measures to remove them.
For these purposes, residents of high-rise buildings in the city of Rudny appealed to the sanitary and epidemiological service and wrote a petition to the head of the region to assist them in the fight against insects."

Bottom photo - female Myrmeleotettix maculatus. And the 2nd from above habitually strongly resembles the female Chorthippus mollis, but it may also be Ch. brunneus or Ch. biguttulus.

Top photo - Chorthippus larva from the brunneus/biguttulus/mollis group,

Maybe. but it seems to me that at this stage viridissima has a slightly different form of wing rudiments(see photo), and in this place, I think, there should be more cantans.

I don't know what topic to ask questions in, so I decided here.
- are there any fillies with developed elytra, but with reduced or rudimentary wings?
- it may not be logical, but can the larvae of straight-winged birds chirp?

please help who knows.

05.07.2013 19:31, PVOzerski

1) To a certain extent, there are. Males can have rather long wings, if it is necessary for chirping. In my opinion, the usual case for Podismopsis, Chrysochraon, is also found among Chorthippus. Do not forget that in locusts, the elytra must interact with the thighs of the hind legs for chirping.

2) Some straight-winged birds seem to have chirping organs that serve not to attract the opposite sex, but to scare off enemies. For example, this is the Krauss organ in pamphagids, which is present in both imago and larvae.
