At night I found such a cute grasshopper in the kitchen: I hid in a hanging towel, moved "on foot": I didn't fly, I didn't jump. Apparently, he came to the smell of food.

I am in Thailand, I will stay here for another week, I want him to live with us in the bank )
So the question is: is it a grasshopper at all? what kind of species and what to feed?

I think it is a grasshopper of the superfamily Stenopelmatoidea (family Anostostomatidae or Gryllacrididae). It can eat anything, probably catches other small insects, eats plants, eats carrion. Plant-based food probably won't hurt. It is advisable to place ventilation and shelters in the bank.

Good afternoon! In your photo, all Tettigonia cantans, the female has a long ovipositor at the back, can feed on both plant food and other insects. Catch as a rule any insects that are smaller in size and which can be grabbed. When kept in captivity and fed exclusively on plants, they attack each other.

Please help me identify this little animal! But I don't know - is it a nymph or an imago? Taken on August 3 of this year at the bottom of a dried-up lake basin in the Svetlinsky district of the Orenburg region (far east of the region).

I assume this is the larva of a migratory locust of the herd phase?
