If it is similar , it can be either Onconotus laxmanni or Onconotus servillei (sometimes they try to be considered as one species, as far as I can reasonably judge).

1st - female Chorthippus from the biguttulus group.
2 and 3 - some kind of Oedipoda, respectively, female and male (if the wings are blue, which is most likely, then Oe. caerulescens - this species is common on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus - but if red, then Oe. miniata).

Please correct it.
1 - Tettigonia viridissima ?
2-Tettigonia cantans

2nd - indeed, cantans. But the 1st one is T. caudata. Good differences between our (European) caudates and viridissima are a relatively long ovipositor (goes beyond the elytra), "blue" eyes and black spots on the hind thighs.

But this is already cool! Conocephalus fuscus. Probably the 1st find in the city. The species seems to be actively promoting its range to the north. This year I found it for the first time in the Novgorod region, in the Leningrad region they were marked several years ago (here, on the forum, the first instructions were).

I found Conocephalus discolor in Gatchina, in 2011-2012

I found Conocephalus discolor in Gatchina, in 2011-2012.

Yes, yes! This data (with a link to you) was published by me here (in an article on the Pskov region): http://www.zooherzen.org/publikacii/sborni...redirects=0&d=1

It's strange: I thought I agreed on this with you.
However, I indicated there only the Gatchina district, and not directly the city of Gatchina.

In autumn and winter, even at subzero temperatures, I hear an incomprehensible sound on the street, this sound comes from the roof of houses and periodically moves, a sound similar to the chirping of a grasshopper but with a strong metallic echo, I first heard it a few years ago, at first I thought that a cricket but it seems that it can not chirp at - 10, then I thought that the suspension optics between the houses from the wind chirps, we have snot scattered between the houses, went up to the roof I approach the cable no sound is not from it, it seems to be between the roof and the ground and again began to move, the sound can abruptly disappear and then reappear.
The sound itself, the microphone is bad, in real life it sounds a little different.

Help with grasshoppers from Croatia 11.08.14 Krk island
both have blue wings

like Oedipoda sp. can I mark it ?

12.10.2014 7:43, PVOzerski

Yes, that's more accurate. There are a couple of their own species in Europe that I haven't seen live, so I can't vouch for caerulescens.

Yes, the first one is Hierodula patellifera.
For the future, it is better to throw mantises in " Who is this?". Still, they are quite far from the erect wings

"Grasshopper" from Croatia-locust larva. Probably Aiolopus strepens, but since the face...
"Moscow region, Ramenskiy district, vicinity of Khripani, 05.06.2014" - male Omocestus viridulus.
"Kabardinka, Krasnodar Region, end of August" - the upper one is similar to Stenobothrus (I would like to see from above), the lower one is a grasshopper from the Pholidopterini tribe, I think that Parapholidoptera noxia.

What do you need to make the proverbial "but"disappear? smile.gif
Fillies of black color with reddish wings live in those places, but it is not yet possible to adequately remove them.

23.12.2014 19:51, PVOzerski

Yes, just a very young larva. It would be older - I would be more confidentsmile.gif, But in general, the little animal looks like Psophus.

However, here I dug up on the web: here is the same larva as Psophus: http://www.orthoptera.ch/images/Wiki/Wiki-...0_IMG_71261.jpg. So Psophus smile.gif
