2 Radik: upper-larva of Chorthippus sp., presumably Ch. macrocerus; lower-female of Chorthippus (?) dorsatus.

thank you!!!

thank you!!!

But still, I'm not so sure about the type of the 2nd photo. There are no other photos of this beast? It would be nice to see a view from above or a clearer end of the abdomen.

Unfortunately, there is no belly view (I didn't know earlier that the accet was needed on the belly), only the top view.

Still, smile.gifdorsatus Top view was enough here.
The only one that could potentially still be there is Chorthippus dichrous - but it seems to be more southern.

Predimago female Decticus verrucivorus? (Georgia, Shilda).

It seems not, maybe Gampsocleis sp.
Similar to Gampsocleis glabra...

The Georgian specimen is neither Decticus nor Gampsocleis. Note, for example, the complete absence of the median keel on the pronotum. Well, the head is completely different from that of Gampsocleis - for example, a different relative size of the eyes, a different shape of the top of the crown. The Psorodonotus variant is quite plausible, but it is a larva, which greatly complicates the definition (I just won't take it).

Thanks! beer.gif I am glad not to be mistaken - for me they are almost a dense forest wall.gif
A few pages earlier, I posted another Psorodonotus (the shield should be a different species), this time in the genus would be a sexually mature specimen http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...41#entry1567341 Maybe it can be determined before the view? Or do you also need to look at genital plates? shuffle.gif

I have highlighted recent posts in a separate topic on the taxonomy of the genus Chorthippus:

http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=565741

Discussion of any details periodically pops up in this topic, but since the question is relevant in itself and without reference to momentary definitions, it is better to discuss it, share thoughts and news in a separate topic
