Bad Den Alexey Sazhnev, tell me, what is the difference between cephalotes and semistriatus ? Lives on my desk , you can take a picture of the details.

27.04.2011 18:29, Dmitry Vlasov

If the elytra are opaque with barely noticeable dots-B. cephalotes; If shiny with clear dotted grooves ( as in the picture) - B. semistriatus....

This is definitely Triplax aenea (Schaller, 1783), it is still too early for Triplax russica, and the shield is orange, this does not happen in T. russica.

For akulich-sibiria
Anisosticta bitriangularis Say is defined correctly
by Scymnus ferrugatus Moll. it is similar, but the abdomen is not visible, and it differs most clearly from Scymnus haemorrhoidalis in the color of the abdomen.

Ukraine, Kherson.
Kravchink should be one, but for many years in a row there are doubts about this because of "trifles".
The photo shows females on top and males on the bottom.

Then photos of normal and" small " males and females and their fragments.
