Not a leaf eater, of course - an elephant. It reminds me of Tanymecus palliatus (Fabricius, 1787).

And the antennal grooves are lateral, as far as you can see from the photo. Phyllobius has dorsal grooves

By the way, does anyone know how to reliably distinguish Larinus obtusus from L. minutus ? The signs mentioned by Ter-Minasyan don't seem to work!

15 - and it was definitely a reed? not a reed - http://www.plantarium.ru/page/image/id/100136.html? the beetle closely resembles Donacia (Donaciella) clavipes Fabricius, 1792

D. clavipes is totally different. In clavipes, the body is long, elongated, and the elytra are parallelilateral. If the shape of the body and dotted lines, then most likely some kind of Donacia versicolorea (Brahms, 1790) resembles. Although determine on SUCH photos donatsiin....

yes.gif Definitely marginalis. It was I who hastily identified it as circumcinctus by its smooth elytra. I repent mol.gif

Yes, by the way, it may well be. Something I did with crassipes overreacted and did not take into account that they are almost the same size as plateumaris in the photo shuffle.gif

10-Labidostomis sp., male, resembles longimana, not badly defined, but genitals are needed

1-That's right, it's the same one. Only it was definitely cattail, and not mannikin? She's more often on it.
2 - Not semikuprea exactly what exactly-I find it difficult. Not plateumaris what time is it, like discolor? The back of the elytra is poorly visible, it is difficult to say.

if it is small (and for beetles of our band of medium size), then most likely longimana. get a needle fresh or after soaking (see relevant topics) naturally under a microscope-you can see everything there.
