Sorry to intrude. I really want to work out with the above mentioned beetles.
Thanks to Alexey Kovalev for defining Diacheila fausti.

You can't do this from pictures. Laemostenus? - maybe Pseudotaphoxenus is like that. A complex group, rich in species, and in need of revision, for sure. Genitals are of the same type, monotonous, endophallus boring.
Leistus - you also need to pick the instance.

I have such a beetle, just from Dzungara, signed by Gleb Sergeich Medvedev, as Blaps caudata Gebler, 1845
Counter question. The label on my copy is "Dzungarian hr., Mynzhigly mountains". What is this place called at the moment, what is meant? Mynzhilgyr - it doesn't seem to be in Dzungara.. Help smile.gif

Most likely, this refers to the Mynzhylki Gorge (Thousand Horses) in the Trans-Ili Alatau.
The height is ~ 3000 meters. 43*05'06.65'' - 77*04'45.16''

It is possible that Dzungarian was written to you by mistake instead of Tien Shan. To the nearest spurs of the Dzungarian mountains from there - about 100 km.
The "Thousand Horses" plateau is also located in the Korinsky Gorge (this is Dzungaria), but the name is not official. Getting there is very difficult. Height ~ 3100m around glaciers, and road no .

Korinsky Gorge - the Kora River, I suppose? Then this is just the thing.
(there are also beetles with similar text and marked R. Kora) . I found everything, thanks
for the clarification, including etymological ones. Old maps say "Mynjilga Mountains".
