This is someone from the Pyralidae (potbitenkaya)

Thank you, Andrey!
I dug around...
Based on the biotope and butterfly pattern (something that can still be considered somehow), choose from Ortholepis betulae and Ortholepis vacciniella. Ortholepis betulae is one of those recorded in the region. And the drawing is more suitable. I will focus on this view.

Hello, tell a novice photo hunter to determine the prey.

To accurately identify the species of butterflies of the family Lycaenidae that you have in your pictures, it is not enough just to take a picture of the butterfly. You must specify the location and date of the photo, and in most cases a picture of the underside (back) of the wings. Therefore, for now - just golubyanka and chervonets.

This is not a mother-of-pearl, but a draughtsman of the genus Melitaea. Or M. didyma, or M. trivia, I can't say for sure from this photo.

Well, if Tver-I will assume that this is a male Cyaniris semiargus and a female Lycaena dispar. But I may well be mistaken, not seeing the underside of the wings.

Yes, just very fresh, that's the Nigger. They quickly fade to gray-brown. The number and size of visible spots on all wings varies, with larger spots in females.

I've never seen one like this before.

01.07.2015 15:27, Ilia Ustiantcev

Banal, it flies everywhere)) However, "everywhere" can mean "broad-leaved communities characteristic of the south and west of the region, but not for Meshchera". But in the valley of Moscow in the vicinity of Zhukovsky, then it should often come across!
