Some Ochsenheimeria (Ypsolophidae), a species I won't risk because of the glossiness and poor visibility of the whiskers.

Quickly! smile.gif
Since there is only one representative of the genus listed for the region, namely Ochsenheimeria taurella, then it probably is.

P.S. There is a slightly different angle without the sun, if it helps:

It seems to me that she really is lupina. And a female. I judge by this pronounced line, which is almost invisible in Lycaon.

1. Cucullia balsamitae

Please allow me to disagree, I stand by my opinion - this is umbratica. The fact is that balsamitae is quite common in the south, so this year in mid-June in Aleshkovsky sands dozens flew to the light, I was there on 06.07 - 5 specimens arrived. Every year there they normally fly to the light. Our balsamitae are very stable in size and pattern, and appear to be sizymy( the photo doesn't really convey this), so I think I'm familiar with them.

Here's an example at the top-umbratica

0517 is not very similar to the newly defined Mythimna impura. I ask for help in determining, Sakhalin.

Since the Hungarian pundits did not write who it is, I would venture to assume that Photedes fluxa. I think it should be on Sakhalin.

I would not trust the strip - in my opinion, it is visible in both of them, who is stronger and who is weaker. But I agree that lupin is the south, the sands.

I don't know the rest of them, so please help me identify them. Sakhalin, August 15, 2015.

And so, little by little, I make up the number of diurnal butterfly species for the city of Yenakiyevo and come across these two, which, when examined in detail, still raise doubts. I used the source to look at the habitats, but it's still difficult to determine who is who frown.gif. Dear entomologists, help us put all the dots over and above these two butterflies. I will listen to every opinion.

Lower (male): C. osiris. Upper (female): probably him, too.

Thanks! I also had Osiris spinning around in my head, but I was confused by some of the forum participants ' statements pointing to altsetas! I have previously posted photos, but judging by the source, you can be sure for 99.9% that these are Osiris, although you can still take into account the flight from the Luhansk region, here the population of altsetas is not so far away umnik.gif. And why is it not minimus, what is the difference between isos, according to the female confused.gif?

I do not know any clear differences. I think that Osiris, "by analogy" (after all, one point?). smile.gif But this, of course, is inaccurate. The genitals will be accurate. smile.gif

Who can tell you about Autographa?

Well, in any case, my call. ex. A. amurica from Primorye is no different from what you have in the picture. There are twin species in the genus, but I don't know about Sakhalin.

Help me determine the name of these butterflies?! We call them day-flies or blind moth, they appear in the evening in huge hordes on the site, actively fly to the light. Terribly annoying, in connection with which I want to understand who it is and how to deal with them.
Taken yesterday (sorry for the quality) in Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia.

It looks like a weird variation on some banal scoop, but what is it? Diarsia rubi, Xestia baja or sexstrigata? I am inclined to the latter. I caught it last night in Pestovo.

In this book, the method of extrapolating data to cover up the map is very dumb. For example, for mourning grounds, the entire territory of the Donetsk region is evenly shaded, which is a rather bold thesis, in my opinion. It would be better if the author limited himself to dots.
