I don't remember exactly where I got it from, but I use these tips.
I've already asked here once before, and they drew me these lines on the wing. Then it turned out that they don't work, but we need to do something different. But I still didn't really understand how to distinguish them (alcetas and decoloratus).

19.09.2015 22:52, KM2200

to km2200:
these signs don't work and you need to watch them, but:
Please indicate the date and geographical location of the photo when posting it.
if the Kiev region - then according to the maps (from the Ivy disk) there is no alcetum there, but dekoloratus-yes.
Yes, I know that theoretically there is no alzheimer's, but I don't really like this method of definition, because if you think like this, you will never find it, even if it appears.
And what exactly you need to look at on the upper side, can you tell me?

Alcet is in Zhytomyr, I think in Kiev, too.
Males differ easily, alcetus is argiades in color, and decoloratus is not so blue, more gray. At the bottom, they differ by a dot near the tail, in altset it should be orange.

This assumption is more likely, and for reliable determination, such species had to be caught (if female) or photographed from above (if male). At the top, I meant males, usya04 indicated the difference.
But I will repeat - those signs indicated in the picture do not work, including the "point near the tail" - there are decolorates with an orange hole and alcetes without it.

Do I understand correctly that this Pestovian Epinotia is also solandriana? It seems to me that this follows from the shape of a barely visible light spot.
