But this butterfly does not show the basal spot on the upper wing.
And the female that I posted earlier (http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=133596&view=findpost&p=1580206), there are no border orange holes on the upper wing. Can this be the case with P. icarus? I'm sorry to bother you with this topic, but perhaps this is a long-passed stage for you-specialists. But I would like to somehow clarify the boundaries of the variability of the pattern on the wings of icarus. Thank you very much! And once again, do not judge strictly for stupid questions.

The" Not visible " keyword smile.gifmay or may not exist. But even if it doesn't, icarus has a form called icarinus that doesn't have this spot.

"Yes" to all questions. smile.gif With icarus, mini-doubts: a reliable determination from this image is strictly impossible (but I think this can be ignored smile.gif). The plant is imho some kind of mullein.

"Vasishchevo" - is this the neighborhood of Vasishchevo station?

I'd say viriplaca.

H. maritima - a species of Atlantic Europe, what we have under this name was given, is now called H. adaucta. But it doesn't seem to be her.
However, let the shovelers speak out.

viriplaca, I think, is this one -6957 (23.07.2015). And in addition to 1420, another photo of her, unfortunately, is not very clear. Maybe it will help with the identification.
