Dear colleagues,
please help me identify these Yezognophos. All collected in Orenburg region.

My guess is Charissa (Kemtrognophos) ambiguata, white specimens.(suggested by I. Kostyuk)- ssp. sheljuzhkoi, according to some sources-a separate species. According to Viidalepp, the subspecies is widespread-Yu. Ural, S. Kazakhstan.

And on the underside, are they somehow different (britomartis and athalia) males and females? And then I tried to distinguish between the dots, but frankly confused rolleyes.gif.

This is already clear smile.gif. I asked the difference specifically in males and females regarding the Melitaea britomartis and Melitaea athalia species in the bottom view?

I do not know any significant differences between the two species. Unreliable - it takes a long time to explain. It comes with experience. smile.gif But you still need to confirm it with your genitals.

I do not believe in the correctness of the label of the female under No. 2. This is a female oak cocoonworm Lasiocampa quercus, whose range barely reaches Lake Baikal to the east.

Thank you. I thought L. quercus on DV is being replaced by something similar.
