1,2-Helicoverpa armigera
3 - most likely Minois dryas
4,5 - for an accurate determination, it would be good to know the size of the butterfly. This is either Coenonympha pamphilus or Maniola jurtina.

Tell me Metzneria lappella (LINNAEUS, 1758) is this a burdock moth ?

Burdock moth is the collective name of caterpillars of several genera of the family of gouged-winged moths (Gelechiidae), which have a certain shape for a hook attachment. Are you planning a fishing trip? smile.gif

Good evening, dear forumchane! Can we say that this is a single species? Sakhalin.

Greetings Olga! What is the wingspan (size) of butterflies? This is all Inope maerens in my opinion, Inope heterogyna is larger in size. The legs are not visible, and you can also tell who is who from them.

Wing length-8 mm, wingspan-1,8. In size comes out
maerens. Are light brown colors common? I saw it for the first time, usually the color scheme is dark.

28.01.2021 17:05, vidjl

They also partially overlap in size, Inope maerens - from 13 to 23 mm, I. heterogyna-from 22 to 30 mm, just small heterogyna are rarely found, and there are no light brown ones, unlike I. maerens, which is almost gray-yellow in color, mainly in males. You have 18mm, a typical maerens. Here the light ones are shown:

http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/47_Zygaenidae..._heterogyna.htm
Here is the difference in the legs:
9-I. heterogyna
10-I. maerens
Between the medial spur and the joint, in I. maerens the distance is small and the joints are smoothly rounded, in contrast to the angular ones in I. heterogyna. Well, best of all, they differ genitally.
