Or maybe the English name doesn't exist at all?

Of course, there may be, tc "local" =common names there are warheads only for species living in a given country/region and for drift pests (prescribed by sanitary services, etc.)
by the way, judging by your list, these are the types you are interested in, respectively, you need to dig in the direction of organizations involved in control wink.gif

In general, this is all nonsense, because the binary nomenclature is truly the strongest of all!

Good afternoon. There are no photos, I didn't find the corresponding forum. I ask for help in determining. I have to get out of the pupae Swallowtail and Pine hawk moth (gus caught in the Vladimir region, the village of Verkhne Polkhovo). Please help me change the Latin name of the species or subspecies that are characteristic of this area.

I apologize for my ignorance, I'm a newbie, I don't know what "nominative" subspecies are-please specify

Nominative in this case means ordinary or without subspecies. Actual types:
Papilio machaon machaon (Linnaeus, 1758)
Hyloicus pinastri pinastri (Linnaeus,1758)
For example, I highlighted the name of a subspecies in black (the nominative name is the same as the type).
Don't fill up the forum with stupid questions.

Question on the taxonomy of Mecynorrhina oberthuri Fairmaire, 1903. This species has a number of forms, in particular unicolor and decorata. Forms must have authors of descriptions, but I couldn't find out who specifically described these forms. If someone has any information or can poke at the link , I would be very grateful.
