I would say that it is. The abdomen under the wings should be red and it is quite large.
P. S. It is very common on hawthorn trees in the Arctic Ocean, etc.

Can I use this photo frown.gifto determine the view?
03.05.2008г. Kherson region, Genich district.
Kuyuk Tuk
r-r 4,7 mm.
Could it be Byrsinus flavicornis
or is it Microporus nigrita? (or ???)
(and then I tried to go to henkei without glasses smile.gif)

On your head (platypus) would look. Byrsinus flavicornis I didn't come across, and we don't seem to have one species.
Maybe Triplaxxx will say so. smile.gif

Stibaropus henkei can be viewed here
http://www.koleopterologie.de/heteroptera/...foto-simov.html
of our own, it is unlikely that anyone can be confused with someone else.

This is Microporus nigrita (Fabricius, 1794), the spines on the platypus are clearly visible. The bug does not look like Stibaropus at all, and Byrsinus flavicornis is noticeably smaller, without spines on the platypus and not so wide. It is strange that on the site barry has no photos of these species, it seems to have taken them.

for barry

This angle will help. The quality doesn't work out.
Temporarily the wrong photo editor.(or maybe "hands"...)
On page 14 of this topic, it was similar.
"Moi" has a non-pubescent belly. There are hairs on the shins, except
for the spines, and there are a few hairs on the surface of the scutellum, but
they seem to be "long" rather than "short".

I also looked at my training camps. I found this one...

Most likely-
Phymata crassipes
What, really - "rare person"?

I haven't done a large-scale revision of Cydnidae yet, although I may have looked at it, but this is certainly not what it should be... smile.gif

Yes-Ph. crassipes, I haven't seen monstrosa yet, although you probably need to look further south. smile.gif
I've mowed down two of them once in a while.

Can you say anything about the following types?
In the general image, they are given in comparison with the" yesterday's " view,
which is in the lower-left corner.
Those that are"two" on 17.04.2008 in the district of Melitopol, sagebrush area of the steppe
(4.4 mm and 4.1 mm).
"Bolshoy" 23.05.2007, Melitopol, a vacant lot in the industrial zone. (4.9 mm.)

I don't know.

29.12.2011 23:35, Dmitrii Musolin

and there is no tendency (within each species) that by autumn (before wintering) they are darker - seasonal polyphenism like many bedbugs?

30.12.2011 0:04, barry

Well, it seems like black ones come across by the end of the summer or overwintered, but I didn't specifically deal with this problem... The trend seems to be yes, but I won't say or draw far-reaching conclusions. smile.gif With age, not only bedbugs often darken...

not so much with age, but before diapause (these are different processes, especially in polyvoltine species)

Yes, I looked at the articles, the seasonality of coloring is known for scutellerids, but there are few works. If anyone looked at Eurygaster integriceps and could document it, it would be interesting... smile.gif
