The genus is exactly the same, but no key features are visible, so Stenodema cf. laevigata.

Thanks!
Very few photos of the view in the network!
Which is not surprising. Too small, too inconspicuous, and too timid. We will have to try to shoot more appropriately.

According to [Lupoli, R., Dusoulier, F., Cruaud, A., Cros-Arteil, S. & Streito, J. C. 2013. Morphological, biogeographical and molecular evidence of Carpocoris mediterraneus as a valid species (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). Zootaxa, 3609 (4): 392-410.] this companion is defined as C. mediterraneus. Which is somewhat annoying, after all, the Saratov region...

I would like to hear the opinion of experts. Thank you.

They're not all genital. Morphologically, according to the known experience, they differ from other species Carpocoris coreanus, C. fuscispinus (and C. mediterraneus according to the authors of the article) and C. melanocerus. Morphologically, it is difficult and sometimes impossible to distinguish C. pudicus and C. purpureipennis from each other, but they are quite simply distinguished by their genitals. The photo is most likely C. pudicus. As for C. mediterraneus, I have not read the full article, but the signs that were previously proposed to identify this species do not give reliable results.

Yes, only the picture does not show the nominative Eastern Mediterranean mediterraneus - and the article mentioned just says that its difference from the Western Mediterranean atlanticus is just in the "blunt shoulders".

Rod fun, of course =) As I still understand about conditionally ours, in the order of dismissing signs:

- melanocerus - a "broad" species, found in the mountains; here - in the Caucasus.
- pudicus - notches on the shield.
- fuscispinus - "sharp-shouldered"
- purpureipennis and mediterraneus - "blunt-shouldered".

29.03.2015 23:01, Vlad Proklov

The photo is most likely C. pudicus.

But they write, the grooves on the shield of the pudicus should be...

Hello! Please identify the bug. The bug was found inside a gall collected from wormwood on 15/04/2015, Saratov. I put the Gallus in a petri dish. Half of the Gaul crumbled. Inside were white larvae, as well as red bug eggs, one live red bug larva hatched. She is a predator, as she fed on white live larvae located in the halle. 18/04 this bug was discovered. He was probably just hiding out in Halle. Thanks!
