It is believed that the larvae of Palomena prasina / viridissima are indistinguishable. Maybe we already have some new information...

These groups cannot be reliably identified from photos.

1 -- most likely, Lethaeus sp.

2 -- almost certainly Coranus aegyptius (Fabricius, 1775)

Only one species is listed for Egypt-Lethaeus fulvovarius Puton, 1884

This does not mean that there can not be other species.

11.08.2015 7:47, Mantispid

Of course, but very similar to this species. It can also be considered as a probable option.

Hello everyone
, I'm here "in bedbugs" for the first time, I looked at the topic a little, but I didn't find an answer. Answer in a nutshell-the red-winged Pyrrhocoris apterus still flies or not. That he wasn't flying was one of the first things he knew about insects since he was a child. So to speak, the base, the basis, the canon is unshakable. And today, before my eyes, this comrade calmly flies about five meters, a meter high, lands, folds his wings and goes on as usual.
Exactly this... breaking the template is my cholismile.gif. Folded hind wings are clearly visible, covering the abdomen from above. Have they flown before, or are they just getting used to it?

This species has wing polyphenism (one genotype can give different wing forms - long-winged, intermediate and short-winged). Perhaps there is also a wing polymorphism (different genotypes give different morphs).

He always has the majority - short-winged, but there are always long-winged individuals. Their share varies.
