Alexander, I'll probably ask you right away.

I came across some huge wingless carnivores in Kazakhstan (Kyzylkum desert) near the Saksauli, and I was sure that they were mating. Later, I saw similar bedbugs on someone's mattress, but with wings... What kind of beetles are these? Are they adults?

Ilya, what are "huge" predators, how much is it?
In general, in your picture (the picture is so-so) representatives of either the genus Reduvius or Holotrichius. In Holotrichius, females are always wingless, males can also be winged, so if you have seen such wingless individuals mating, then this is probably Holotrichius. Some Reduvius species (including Central Asian ones) have wingless females and winged males. Reduvius just happens to have giants -- Reduvius fedtschenkianus up to 32 mm. In your image, most likely Holotrichius sp., imago.

Thanks for the answer! "Huge" is in this case 26 mm. The photo, alas, is only like this. I've already packed up the beetles - I'll give them to specialists.

Help with bedbugs from apartments. Who are they?

Where do the animals come from?
There seem to be 2 types here:
left - Cimex lectularius Linnaeus, 1758;
central and right - Cimex dissimilis / pipistvelli, poorly visible signs.

I've looked at the literature and I think I agree with you-it really seems to be Cimex hemipterus (Fabricius, 1803). The species is circumtropical, but it is known to be imported to Western Europe. As for the keys, there is a monograph on the family.

Actually, in V. Puchkov's monograph on Rhopalidae, everything is very clearly described and drawn. And in the genitals, you need to look at the general view of the traffic light and the shape of the paramer.
