And this is a cross between miroshnikovi and zolotarevi, another example of the variability of the subgenus, the real zolotarevi is brighter, and miroshnikovi is darker on the contrary... From this population came across rather narrow specimens and vice versa wide, not knowing where they come from, it is difficult to take for one species...

Gentlemen, who among the Archplectus can run on a Rocky Ridge in the KCH?

Thanks!

13.02.2010 22:14, Dorcadion

In the western part of some Miroshnikovo, and to the east probably edita, there is still a chance of a short break, but it is negligible...
Where is more specific? The rocky ridge is large...

This post was edited by Dorcadion - 02/13/2010 22: 16

13.02.2010 22:26, Frantic

And here we are thinking, "where is more specific":) Select it..

By the way, is there only Starkianus Theseus in Goryachy Klyuch? Or is there something else from the Archplects?

13.02.2010 23:31, Dorcadion

Rocky is better in Kabarda, and even better in Ossetia:)
Only it is included, it is boring to catch there...

13.02.2010 23:35, Frantic

It is clear that Ossetia is super. In the South - generally a class, I think:-)

Do you have any Tribaxes in the Key? In general, where is the most acceptable place in the Archipelago relatively close to Krasnodar (within 150-200km maximum)? You can add it to the soap.

Thanks!!

Alexander, how do you distinguish a female satyrus from juenthneri pshuensis? They seem to be running around together somewhere. I like only on the more unstable pigment in satyrus - and they could distinguish.(rub with ethyl acetate)

Ruslan, this is a difficult question. Within the population, the variability is very high. Everything "floats" - size, proportions, sculpture, including prsp. About the persistence of pigmentation-I find it difficult to say anything. Of the males I have blown out, there is not a single juenthneri. Everything is satyrus. There are many more females, and I looked at them for a long time, but I didn't come to anything. I can only say that in that place the percentage of juenthneri is small, compared to satyrus.

In general, we now consider the taxon pshuensis as only an aberration from most likely juenthneri ssp., and the juenthneri population itself in Pskhu-it is not clear how to call it-the nominative is described from a Large Lab. Starting from the Belaya River-the left bank (a tributary of the Aguripsta River), pseudopshuensis pseudopshuensis appears in the Svyatoi district (pic. Byaul and Bitaga are dominated by pseudopshuensis pseudopshuensis - with a small proportion of juenthneri ssp. Females differ in large series - you need to get used to it-I don't remember the signs from memory - you need to look - there is no time now. Until the problem is solved, it is difficult to understand the relationship of 3 taxa pseudopshuensis, satyrus, and juenthneri, and there is no taxon satyrus on the right bank of the Bzyb River.

Igor, thank you for your advice! Dima and I also talked about this topic. And of course I would have to put the name of the taxon with a question mark. Until utryaski and the article is published. Something about this taxon differs from satyrus.

When comparing lennoni with koltzei, it is clear that the sac in lennoni is pressed against the edeagus tube, and in colce it is more protruding, and in the shape of an agonoporius.

On large series - this is very clearly visible

Igor, do they run together? And then on the endophallus, species, - somehow not very. shuffle.gif

Similar, but not quite - this is all one complex of complex species, their lamella is different and the general contour of edeagus

09.01.2013 13:20, Tomas

Yes, unfortunately this is true. More species of Archiplectes have this type of Endophalus. For example: apollo, daphnis, faunus, heikertingeri, koltzei, lennoni, plasoni, protensus ... I have photos of all of them. Gradually, I send. If I only judge by Endophal, there are significantly fewer species. But this deals with more experts than me.
Here, for example:
