Stage Antsiferovo-Podosinki, there is generally a lot that flies. I walk along it from the north side, where some thread path (I know three such places) goes to the railway. In all three cases, the distance to the forest is at least 10 meters, here, in my opinion, all those plants grow that "feed" rare and not very butterflies, the most "delicious" of which are sandalwood and white-spotted (the same alveus) thick-headed, various mother-of-pearl, including Daphne tongue.gifand Laodica, checkers (Phoebus, Diamina, Athalia, Avrinia), a heavenly pigeon. Sometimes there fly yolks from the "myrmidonopitomnik", in addition, from the grass often vspugivayutsya various raznous.

I like the color reproduction in your photos. I don't know if these are selected settings in the camera or in subsequent processing.

Thank you for your flattering rating! I'm a novice photographer. Camera-Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H7 bought only in August of this year. I shoot with automatic settings. I "pull" something in Photoshop.

The frame is really rare, impressive! But judging by your first picture, it's not a frog that's being swallowed, but a common toad, named by Linnaeus "in honor" of his rival colleague Buffon.

The trick is that this is a common pond frog Rana esculenta. But he began to swallow it, against his usual custom, from behind. This apparently lasted for a very long time, and the frog first swelled up from squeezing in the front part, and then died. And I couldn't get my hands on it until the end. A couple of hours after the shooting, I was driving past this place again and found this swollen and dead frog in the very place where it was swallowed. I couldn't handle it and regurgitated it.

That's what I'm trying to prove yes.gif! Buffon's Toad umnik.gif!

That's what I'm trying to prove yes.gif! Buffon's toad umnik.gif!

Honestly-a frog! smile.gif First, it happened in the shallow coastal waters of a forest pond, second, adult pond frogs are often brown, only the longitudinal stripe on the back is green, third, the toad's parotid glands are much larger and elongated, and, finally, strangled frogs always have an unusual color... wink.gif Here is an enlarged fragment of another photo, so that you can see how much the frog was blown apart...
In general, with such disputes, what just do not know: http://bufodo.apus.ru/paper_dif4.html

19.11.2007 23:50, Pavel Morozov

But I, for example, still have paws and a belly that make me think of a toad.

Thank you, of course, but it's not my fault. The day was sunny, the customers were still, the camera was in automatic mode. All that remained was to choose the angles.

Yes, the photo is cool!I don't care so much whether it's a frog or a toad...I wish I could have swallowed it.....It turns out that I killed for a whim smile.gifBe careful there, you have a killer smile.gifIn sadists, too, so it starts (according to statistics), first toads and birds smile.gif

Samiy strashchny zver on the swamp - this is a horror!

There are several of them on this lake, and the most fertile time comes when the tadpoles begin to come ashore. Since there are no more water bodies in the vicinity, the lake serves as a breeding ground for the surrounding amphibious animals and tadpoles are bred in some fantastic quantities: along the banks there is a continuous black ribbon up to 2 meters wide. By the way, the barbecue grill is cleaned to a full gloss for 15 minutes in totalsmile.gif, this very copy of the snake from the photo (90 centimeters in length, by the way) was observed when it just lay on the bank and lazily collected the tadpoles that clung to it. But I didn't have a camera at the time. So, there is hope for new images in the next season...

Good photo.. It usually eats green (ridibunda, lessonae) and brown (arvalis, temporaria) frogs. And the fact that poisonous, such as toads and zherlyanok, only read in literature..

Thank you again for the photo smile.gif

In the morning, a lot of birds, including a beautiful predator tearing meat. The fox runs through sometimes. In the evening, wild boars come and spend several hours eating the food that has been poured for them. Two raccoon dogs passed by yesterday.
