Thank you so much for the cockroach names! The album is now in full order. smile.gif

Added it to the album Wasps pictures with a creepy, angry red-haired creature, the folder is signed as "Wasp Scoliidae", here identified

Scoliidae. Darwin, NT, Australia. March 2009

I remember that I was terribly afraid of it and photographed it through a large jar, the creature was angry, buzzed terribly and wanted to eat me. It was written all over his face! smile.gif

I already have a draft of the album "Bugs"

Beetles

But here, so far, not everything that is in the folders and pictures will need to be "combed" and signed.

If I am not mistaken, then what is signed Ophioninae is not possibly Lissopimpla sp. from Pimplinae, and the following photos of "os" without a name are just representatives of Ophioninae.

Oh, I'll fix it now! Thank you very much! smile.gif

Stupid question redface.gif

How to place the words "in labels" correctly?

Lissopimpla sp., Pimplinae

or

Pimplinae, Lissopimpla sp.

and then I always put "to taste", based on the visual "beautiful/not beautiful". But surely there are rules in insect science?

30.03.2015 6:02, Ele-W

On the website www.discoverwildlife.com I found a picture very similar to mine

signed "Yellow-banded Ichneumon Wasp"

So I signed " Pimplinae, Lissopimpla sp., Yellow-banded Ichneumon Wasp." Correct or remove/add something?

And the last (for today) album (337 images)

Butterflies

Here everything that I identify as a "butterfly", including caterpillars, which are future butterflies.

And now the question is:

Do I need to divide them into "just butterflies" and "nocturnal butterflies"? Or is it better when they're all together?

The question resolved itself. smile.gif The album turns out to be huge, so I've already separated it tracks and I will divide the butterflies into "Butterflies" and "Moths", otherwise there are a lot of folders in the archive and if you put them together, you will get the same " huge pile!" The picture I'm trying to run away from. smile.gif

And in the archive folder with cockroaches, I found 6 more pictures "from under the lamp" with nameless horrors.

How do I sign them?

That is, if there are several words and one of them has the prefix sp., then this word will be the last? Ok. I'll go check it out! smile.gif
