Hello everyone. I have a rather unsual request:
I Dungeons and Dragons master, DnD, it's a RPG table game. I recently got acquainted with the same system, but based on the Hollow Knight computer game, it is dedicated to intelligent beetles living on the great tree. I want to start mastering this system, but to create a fantasy world, I do not have enough knowledge about real insects, their diet and relationships. I want to create an unusual and gloomy setting about bugs.
Can someone become my consultant on this issue who can approach the issue creatively? I have not been interested in the topic of insects before, and I certainly will not be able to understand it in the same way as the regulars of this forum.

Nikita, I think you should read the book Children of Time (and maybe the entire cycle of the same name), which was written by comrade Adrian Tchaikovsky. If you don't read in English, it is also available in Russian translations, but I don't know about the quality of these translations. The book describes the life of intelligent spiders quite well for popular literature, including the author even took a swing at the advent of this intelligence. There are, of course, a lot of all sorts of (non-)scientific assumptions, and yet, I suspect that immersion in the world of this book will give you noticeably more to solve your problem than communication with entomologists.
