Ok, if sure, goes to "identified successfully".

29.08.2011 2:07, Eugene Karolinskiy

Why to "uncertain"? ;)

Moved to A. ruslana, males, uncertain yet.

26.08.2011 10:13, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Species added: let's identify it already (doesn't suit paphia, no way).

26.08.2011 9:56, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Evgeny Karolinsky turned out to identify it even in February.

26.08.2011 9:53, Vasiliy Feoktistov

If male, that's right, not paphia at all.

26.08.2011 9:52, Dmitriy Pozhogin

Male! Look at its androconiae! Seems to me, that's Argynnis ruslana.

26.08.2011 9:48, Vasiliy Feoktistov

If that's one (doubtful), then female.

23.02.2011 1:27, Peter Khramov

Yury, is there any underside photo, maybe?

23.02.2011 1:25, Eugene Karolinskiy

As for today info, there is no adippe in Primorye region now (but closer species). Anyway, this butterfly is not adippe's relative. The more I look at it, the more I see ruslana.

23.02.2011 0:59, Yuri Semejkin

Hey ho! I think, identifying is wrong. It was identified for me as Fabriciana adippe.

23.02.2011 0:30, Peter Khramov

If approve, to the database then...

23.02.2011 0:21, Eugene Karolinskiy

Imho, that's the very Argynnis ruslana, male. Definitely not paphia (it has different androconiae, etc.)

22.02.2011 16:46, Peter Khramov

To "uncertain".

22.02.2011 5:58, Evgeny Komarov

Seems just Argynnis paphia. Don't pass as similar one above, Argynnis (Argyronome) ruslana Motschulsky, 1866. Underside needed.
