Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Wingspan 42-47 mm. It is one of the white butterflies, but male easily recognized by having black apex on UpF which expanding inwards in space 3 to mid-way between terman and the base of vein 3 and with black spots at cell-end and discal area in space 1b , HW unmarked; UN white except yellowish at FW apex and HW, with black markings at cell-end, mid space 3 and in space 1b. Female slightly larger and darker on UP, with additional black bands on FW at lower portion of the cell to termen in space 3 and in space 1a and 1b, HW with marginal black spots at the end of veins. [144].
