Distribution

  • Regions of the Russian Federation: the Lower Amur, Seaside, Mid-Amur. [3].
  • Russia (Amur Region, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territory), China and Korea Peninsula, Japan [113].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 30-35 mm. Antennae simple, filamentous. The labial palps directed forward, densely covered with long hairs: snowy-core segment, brown-middle and an end. The maxillary palps are straight, thin, act above the forehead, brown. Proboscis and eyes are. Forehead convex, smooth, brownish-white.Crown and nape adjacent brownish-white scales.
    Per.krl. yellowish-brown, with a clear figure. of brown transverse outer and inner lines and two points in the middle brownish cell and zig-zag stripe outer box. Fringe of alternating white and brown areas. The rear. KRL.as a brownish-yellow, with a brown median stripe. The fringe light brown.

Larva food plants / other food objects

  • Caterpillars of polyphagous. They feed on leaves marigold, shporotsvetnika, Hieracium, Kakalia, Saussure, butterbur, twisting leaves in clumps using silky. In Primorye, the caterpillars are collected 17-24 June 2000 at the Astra incision. Flight of butterflies occurred 12-23 July 2000 [113].
