Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2012-08-16 02:30:00, Ryazan region, Kasimovsky district, near Ozerki village, on the high Oka riverbank
Photographer's comment: The caterpillar is of 4—4.5cm length, red warts on the black centre and tail parts pretty stand out. Couldn't find its host plant, larva pupated almost right away. Found under an oak tree where also were dogrose bushes and young aspen trees.Comments on this image
